IFI Hashmark is operated by Art Moreno, Independent Football Intelligence. It is a free football charting and player-grading application. You can browse and save one session without an account. Sign in to start additional sessions on the website. The desktop Coach Edition works without an account.

Saved sessions and account cloud sync

Your free guest session stays in this browser, where you can keep adding plays, view it and export it. A local trial record remembers that session even if you delete it. Sign in to save or import additional sessions. Existing guest work remains available to view and export. When signed in, saved account grades, sessions, notes, custom rosters, embedded custom images, templates and settings sync through Supabase to other devices using the same account. Changes made while your sign-in remains active wait locally until connected. Your free guest session also works offline. Reopening an account workspace offline allows viewing and exporting; reconnect and sign in to save. Unsaved drafts and the bundled college catalog are not uploaded. Cloud access is restricted to the owning account. Conflicting edits are retained for review rather than silently overwritten. Export a backup before clearing browser data, especially if changes have not synced.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, Google and our authentication provider, Supabase, process the sign-in. IFI receives your basic Google identity, including your account identifier, email address, name and profile image when supplied. We use this information to create and recognize your IFI account. The app requests only identity, email and profile permissions, with no access to Gmail messages, Drive files or contacts.

Supabase stores account, authentication and synced workspace records. Your browser stores the session needed to stay signed in. Each signed-in account uses its own local grading workspace; signing in does not move or upload guest grades. Signing out removes the active local sign-in but preserves saved grading work on that browser. Local storage is not encrypted; use separate browser profiles on shared computers.

Website delivery and logs

The hosted website, including the grading pages, uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views and loading performance. This website measurement does not run inside the Windows Coach application or installer.

Cloudflare hosts the website and receives ordinary web-request information such as IP address, requested resource, time and browser information. Google and Supabase also receive information needed to operate and protect authentication and cloud sync. This information is subject to each provider’s retention and privacy practices.

Advertising and analytics

The public IFI website uses Google AdSense on its homepage, software, about and Windows download pages. Ad code is installed, but displaying ads depends on Google’s site approval, ad availability, your location and your privacy choices. The /hashmarkgrading/ application does not load this advertising code. The Windows Coach application and installer contain no advertising. We do not send your saved grading records, player notes or custom roster data to AdSense. We have not installed Google Analytics.

Google and other third-party advertising vendors may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, browser or device information and other identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit repeated ads and detect invalid traffic. Advertising cookies may allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Information may be shared with those advertising providers for these purposes, subject to your consent or opt-out choices where applicable. How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Where required, Google’s consent message offers Consent, Do not consent and Manage options. You can revisit your choice using Privacy and cookie settings on pages displaying that message. For applicable US visitors, use Do Not Sell or Share to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for advertising. These controls are provided by Google and may vary by location; blocking advertising scripts can prevent them from loading. Declining personalized advertising does not prevent you from using IFI. Non-personalized or limited ads may still be shown where permitted.

You can also control Google ad personalization in My Ad Center, use participating vendors’ advertising opt-outs, and manage cookies in your browser. Deleting cookies may reset consent choices. Do not clear all site storage without exporting your grading work, because it can remove your local workspace. Google and other providers determine their own retention periods; see their privacy policies and the vendor details in the consent message.

Your choices and contact

You can browse without signing in, sign out, remove local records through the app or browser settings, and revoke IFI’s Google access from your Google Account. Revoking access does not itself delete your IFI account or browser records.

For privacy questions or to request deletion of your IFI account held in Supabase, contact art@independentfootballintelligence.com. Account deletion does not remotely erase files or grading data stored on your devices. We may need to verify the request comes from the account owner.
