Why IFI exists / Est. 2026

I wanted to keep my own grades.

So I built a place to do it.

A grade can tell you what someone thinks about a player. What I wanted was a clearer way to follow the work behind it: what they tracked, what they saw, and how they reached that number. Traits, tendencies, what leverage were they playing with?

I also wanted a place to keep my own evaluations. Games or practices. Any level. Somewhere I could log each play, make notes, and come back to the evidence instead of trying to remember what stood out. Sometimes not even grading them, just my own, granular notes.

I started building it for myself. That became Independent Football Intelligence, and the software became IFI Hashmark.

It's for coaches, avid football watchers, and people who like getting into the numbers. Bring your own roster, track what you see, and build an evaluation you can explain. Or track a game live and grade a player yourself.
